All organic or what?
Our organic breakfast buffet runs from 08:00 - 10:00. Our coffee machine is available from 07:00 - 18:00. During breakfast time the coffee is free of charge. One week before your arrival you will receive a "Gute Reise Mail". It will also contain all our restaurant tips.
Half board in the
Oswalda Hus
My husband runs the Oswalda Hus (10 minutes' walk away). They serve a freshly cooked menu every day (except Sundays). Meaty or vegetarian. Both an experience. For Breitachhus guests there are of course special conditions. Of course 😉
Water station & Honesty Bar
Please leave your plastic bottles at home. Because there is free water for everyone at our water station. Whether still or sparkling. The main thing is no plastic bottles. There is also a coffee machine and an Honesty Bar. With healthy juices, beer and wine.
One kitchen

Whether planned or unplanned, you can cook at any time in our new communal kitchen. We provide the ingredients (spices, vinegar, organic oil) and you do the rest. We know that the best parties always take place in the kitchen. P.S.: We offer various organic products for sale. Of course you can cook with the food you bring yourself.

Is everything here organic or what?
Yes, that's how it looks. Because the Breitachhus is certified organic.
Can we use the mountain railways free of charge as a Breitachhus guest?
Sure, only in summer. But still. The ascent and descent is included in summer!
Is the bed cleaned every day?
Almost, except once a week. Because that's when our chambermaid has her well-deserved day off. By the way, not only is it good for our chambermaid, but also for the environment.
When is breakfast served?
From 08:00 - 10:00
Is there a bar?
Yes, but a self-service bar. With cool drinks of all kinds and our coffee machine is available to all guests from 07:00 - 17:30. And: there is a water station where still and sparkling water is available free of charge.
When can we check in and how?
You can check in from 11.00 a.m. via the key safe and your room will be spotlessly clean and ready for you to move into by 2.30 p.m. at the latest. We will send you the code approx. 1 week in advance.
When do we have to check out?
Preferably never again...but everything has its end. Unfortunately. From 10.00 am.
Is there really a large self-catering kitchen?
Oh yes, that's my pride and joy. It can be used free of charge.
Will I get exactly the room I have booked?
We'll give it our all, we promise. We cannot guarantee this 100%.
Can Bello the dog come along?
Unfortunately not :-(
Can we book the whole house?
Yes, very gladly. In May, June and October (for at least 3 nights).
How do we pay?
The deposit is paid upon booking. Final payment 1 week before arrival
What happens if we cancel?
Unfortunately, this is never ideal, but it can happen. Here you can find our cancellation conditions.
from 14 days before arrival, 70% of the package price (overnight stay + breakfast) is due
from 6 days before arrival and in case of no/late arrival 90% of the total stay of the cancelled nights will be charged.
on the day of arrival - in case of no-show 100% is due
For group holidays with more than 6 persons:
from 2 months before arrival free of charge
from 2 months to 6 weeks before arrival 40%
from 6 weeks before arrival 80
from one week before arrival 100 % of the booked package price.
